2012 is almost over. This year is very important for the environment & all environments related movement. This year world environment conference has occurs. Global warming is increasing continuously. It is now a major factor to the world community for saving this planet from the curse of pollution. This is the year when air pollution gets the top ranking of killers. 2012 is the year of natural calamities. Record numbers of natural calamities took place in this year. Natural calamities in world have increased. Now let’s have a short look on some national disasters of 2012 in United States.

1/ A huge Mudslide near Washington State which was 40 miles long

Mount Rainier is a famous mountain around Washington State. It is not only known for its height but also known for its natural habit of land sliding. From the highest space of the mountain small groups of rock slides down several times of the year. It’s a common natural hazards to the inhabitants of that states as a volcanic zone. In this year a huge rock slide happens from the top of that mountain. It was not like the other ones. The slide was mainly active on the west corner of the mountain. Tons of ice slides down towards the civilization. Not only that, huge rocks were also on the slide to make it more deadly. The mudslide was so destructive that it destroys almost everything on its path. Rocks & trees were crushed and was made a part of this volcanic mudslide. This mudslide ware almost 4o miles long on the western corner of the mountain. Around 150,000 people were affected by this mudslide that ware resident of that area.

2/ A deadly Hurricane took place on Florida Tropical Terror at 196-Miles per Hour

A deadly hurricane occurs on the south beach of Miami this year. The hurricane was named “Lyle”. Maximum wind flow was 196 miles per hour. On united mainland it was recorded as the strongest hurricane that ever hits.     

As we know north side is the most densely populated on Miami Beach. This storm hits badly on that side. Many inhabitants suffer from the storm because of their wrong belief. They thought they were safe because they were on the high ground. But they were very wrong. But it was late for them to make it right. All the construction was washed out by the storm Lyle. The water waves were almost 16 feet high from the surface. Almost every resident suffers from that storm.

3/ Climate Change on North Atlantic Sea
After 1978 none has seen such violent cold on North Atlantic Ocean. It is obvious that global warming is the main culprit. But the change of weather on north Atlantic Ocean is too eye Cathy. Gigantic iceberg is forming on the ocean. It’s causing problem to river transportation system. It’s also affecting the weather of the nearby residents and countries. Not only is that under water eco system being hampered. So fishing is getting hard day by day. Local harvesting system is not working according to expectation. As a result its affecting the economy directly. It was a huge natural hazards in USA.

 4/ 80-Ft.-High Tsunami hits on Atlantic Coast

80-Ft.-High Tsunami

One of the most active & dangerous volcano is situated on canary island. Recently it causes a mass destruction on that part of the country. A volcanic earthquake took place on upper part of the mountain. The earthquake was strong enough to break one third of the mountain. It causes massive natural hazards. The gigantic broken part of the mountain slides down to the nearby Atlantic coast. It directly slides down to water & it causes a huge tsunami. Water rises to 3000+ ft. high from the surface. The tsunami was 15 miles long & 10 miles wide. This tsunami was so devastating that it causes a massive destruction to the inhabitants.
